At Last Stop Home, we understand how important it is for young people to feel safe, secure, and settled. As the final stop before adulthood, our mission is to provide a permanent, nurturing home where children know they will not have to worry about being moved from placement to placement. Here, they are valued, supported, and guided by a dedicated team who treats them like family. We focus on building confidence, resilience, and independence, ensuring every young person can step into adulthood with certainty, stability, and hope for the future.

Residential Care

Our residential care provides a safe, welcoming, and nurturing home where young people can grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. We focus on supporting each child’s emotional, social, and practical development, helping them build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive as they move towards adulthood..

Emotional and Behavioural support

We provide understanding, consistent, and compassionate support to help young people manage their emotions and behaviours. Some of our team have backgrounds in mental health and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), allowing us to offer specialist guidance that helps children build resilience, self-confidence, and positive coping skills in a safe and caring environment.

Transitional Support

Our Transition Support helps young people confidently move into adulthood by developing the skills they need for independent living, education, and employment. We provide guidance, practical support, and encouragement so each child can make a smooth, positive transition into the next stage of their life with confidence and independence.

Last Stop Homes

Life at Last Stop Home is all about feeling safe, happy, and at home. Our rooms, gardens, and shared spaces are cosy and fun, with lots of places to relax and play. Each day has something different to enjoy—arts and crafts, cooking, sports, or getting help with schoolwork. We eat meals together, celebrate special moments, and make sure everyone gets the support and attention they need. It’s a place where you can be yourself and feel like you truly belong

Our team follows strong safeguarding policies, carries out regular health and wellbeing checks, and creates a safe and supportive environment for every child. All staff are fully trained, carefully vetted, and committed to keeping young people protected, happy, and secure.

At Last Stop Home, we build strong, positive relationships with families, social workers, schools, and health professionals to ensure each young person receives consistent and coordinated support. We share information safely, attend multi-agency meetings, and work closely with all partners involved in the child’s care. By staying connected and working as one team, we help every young person feel supported, understood, and fully prepared for the next stage of their journey.
